EBRA
Background
The European Business Registry Association (EBRA) was formed in 2019 following a merger between the European Commerce Registers’ Forum (ECRF) and the European Business Register (EBR).
Advertising International already had contact with both of these entities via its work with the Jersey Companies Registry at the Jersey Financial Services Commission. We were are asked to present a proposal on how the two websites for ECRF and EBR could be merged into one combined entity. Following our presentation, we were awarded the contract to create a website and brand to help the two organisations achieve their objectives.
Target Audience
- The 43 EBRA business registers across Europe.
- EEA-countries: the organisation which manages their business registry.
- For other countries: an official authorised body which is formally responsible for the collection and registration of information related to the business and commerce registry within a jurisdiction.
- Organisations which are authorised for the dissemination of business register information.
Client Challenge
- The merger of website data and member information from two different websites, built on different platforms, into one easy to use website platform
- To continue to provide an interrupted service during the change over.
- Obtain cooperation and member approval from different registries in different countries.
- Provide admin access to the website for different European members so that they were able to publish information to the website when their country hosted the annual EBRA conference.
- Show member location and details in an interactive map on the website.
Agency Solution
- Creating a working group with key EBRA decision makers.
- Provide draft visuals of website for approval before website build.
- To build website with easy to use CMS and individual registry log in.
- Provide website CMS training and user guide to each registry as required.
- Create interactive map on website to enable users to quickly and easily locate members and jurisdictions.
The Results
2024 marked EBRA’s fifth year as an Association. With it came a sense of confidence as they strengthened their role in promoting transparency, trust, and accessibility across Europe’s registry landscape.
The website has become the main place to find current news, background information and upcoming events related to EBRA.
Following the successful launch and response to the website, we were asked to design and produce the EBRA Annual Report.
